As
a Christian non-political charitable organistion registered in Sierra
Leone, we believe that every child has the right to be born well and
to be cared for and raised well.
Every child has the right to live with a family who loves, cares and
teaches good morals to him or her.
Every child has the right to have the basic needs of people such as
food, shelter, water, clothing and healthcare.
Every child has the right to have everything he or she needs for a better
life.
Every child has the right to be educated.
Every child has the right to play and enjoy whenever they have the opportunity.
Every child has the right to be protected from abuse of adults.
Every child has the right to live peacefully away from bad influences.
Every child has the right to be cared for whenever their parents are
not available or cannot sustain their needs.
Every child has the right to be living in a good organisation which
helps them strengthen their faith and to become better citizens.
Every child has the right to grow up peacefully and getting what they
want for the good of their lives.
In Matthew Chapter 19 vs 14 Jesus said: Let the little children come
to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to
such as these.
Our Goal is: to build a home
for needy children and orphans where they can live a healthy life by
providing spiritual needs, food, clothing and education so that they
can become good citizens and God-fearing adults.
It is on this background that the Charity was founded and established.

Our activities include:
Identification/ scouting
out orphans, less privileged, disabled and disadvantaged children and
their needs.
• Pre-view of the incoming orphans, less privileged, disabled,
and disadvantaged children with problems/ difficulties
• Emotional acceptance of the child
• Teaching facilities for basic education
• Teaching facilities for vocational courses and crafts
• Recreational facilities
• Primary health – wellbeing
• Outreach evangelism in our local communities to reach out to
children and young people for Jesus Christ.
• Street pastors.
• Feeding and workshop.
• Organise Mercy’s Children Festival of Life Christmas party
every year (Feeding)
• Agriculture – long term and short farming projects:
- Short term farming i.e. Cassava farming for Gari/ foo foo, rice farming,
example swamp and upland farming.
- Long term farming projects example – Palm oil plantation (mosanke)
