About Mercy Children 4 Christ
My
name is John Bangalie Musa. born of Mowoto Village in the Bumpe Ngao
Chiefdom, Sewama Section, Southern part of Sierra Leone West Africa,
currently living in the United Kingdom.
I am the CEO and founder of Mercy’s Children for Christ in Sierra
Leone, a non-political charitable organistion registered in Sierra
Leone. As a third world country, Sierra Leone has suffered a lot from
civil (rebel war) over 20yrs ago, Ebola and Mudslide which killed
thousands of children. Parents left behind majority of their children
with no one to look after these disadvantaged children and orphans.
Most times the Central Government hardly recognises them in term of
care as a right of a child in the society. They lack proper education,
clothing and sometime food etc. unless they beg on the street for
something to eat.
My colleagues and I with passions for Children, came together and
organised ourselves to be helpful to these children with their needs,
school materials, shelter etc. with throgh a charity organisation
called Mercy Children for Christ to assist them with
whatever little we can offer.
I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ
in whom we believe. I am confident that His abundant grace and peace
continue to be your portion. May His wonderful name be praised forever.
I would like to give you a brief overview of Mercy’s Children
for Christ (MCC). It was formed in December 2016 as Christian and
non-profit organization that focuses on alleviating the suffering
of children in Sierra Leone by providing necessities and essential
items for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and orphans.
Our Goal is: to build a home
for needy children and orphans where they can live a healthy life
by providing spiritual needs, food, clothing and education so that
they can become good citizens and God-fearing adults.
As a Christian charity Organisation, we believe in
every child has the right to be born well, and to be cared and raised
well.
Every child has the right to live with a family, who loves cares and
teaches good morals to him or her.
Every child has the right to have the basic needs of people such as
food, shelter, water, clothing and health care.
Every child has the right to have everything he or she needs for a
better life.
Every child has the right to be educated.
Every child has the right to play and enjoy whenever they have the
opportunity.
Every child has the right to be protected from abuse of adults.
Every child has the right to live peacefully away from bad influences.
Every child has the right to be cared whenever their parents are not
available or cannot sustain their needs.
Every child has the right to be living in a good organisation who
helps them strengthen their faith and to become better citizens.
Every child has the right to grow up peacefully and getting what they
want for the good of their lives.
In Matthew Ch 19 vs 14 Jesus said. Let the little children come to
me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such
as these.
